Returns and Refund Policy

Relationship to Buyer Protection

This Returns and Refund Policy must be read with Buyer Protection Policy and applicable mandatory law. Return eligibility depends on the product category and case facts: ordinary returns for bulky furniture may differ from eligible smaller home décor and accessories, textiles and opened hygiene-sensitive products, while statutory remedies for defective, incorrect or non-conforming goods remain available. Any approved refund or alternative remedy is determined by the evidence, applicable entitlement and the relevant return or dispute procedure.

Eligible Returns

Subject to law, eligible returns may include non-conforming item, material mismatch, major undisclosed defect, wrong item, missing material component or verified transport damage where return is the appropriate remedy.

Non-Eligible Returns

Subject to applicable mandatory rights and category-specific eligibility, ordinary change-of-mind returns may be restricted for eligible furniture and other excluded categories. Disclosed showroom-display observations, normal cosmetic signs consistent with the stated A+, A or B outlet condition, minor visual variation, Buyer-caused damage or unauthorised alteration may affect entitlement where legally permitted. No Item is treated as previously used solely because it is offered through reFind. A statutory claim for a qualifying defect or non-conformity is assessed separately and is not automatically barred by these ordinary-return restrictions.

Return Condition and Collection

The item must be preserved in the delivered condition, unused except for reasonable inspection, and made available for approved collection. The party responsible for the return must cooperate with scheduling and evidence.

Refund Amount and Timing

Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount is calculated by reference to the remedy decision and applicable law, separating Item consideration, delivery charges and the Buyer Service & Handling Fee. Where a refund is justified and approved under the governing terms, reFind refunds the associated Buyer Service & Handling Fee to the Buyer. Where the justified refund results from a Selling Partner's fault or failure, reFind may recover the refunded fee from that Selling Partner under the signed commercial agreement and applicable law. Where a refund request is not justified, the Buyer Service & Handling Fee remains non-refundable, subject always to mandatory law. Delivery-charge refunds and any partial refund are determined under the applicable fault and remedy allocation. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, with processing time subject to the payment method and issuing bank; reFind communicates status through the support case.

Partial Refund, Repair or Alternative Remedy

Where proportionate and accepted or legally appropriate, reFind may facilitate a partial refund, repair contribution, replacement where available, or another remedy instead of return.

Cost Allocation

Where Seller fault or a failure attributable to delivery arranged by the Selling Partner is established, the Selling Partner bears the applicable remedy and return/delivery costs to the extent authorised by the governing agreement and law. For an eligible Buyer-choice return or non-eligible refusal, the Buyer shall bear applicable outbound and return delivery costs and administration charges benefiting the responsible Selling Partner, provided such charges have been properly disclosed and are legally chargeable. Such charges are not automatically imposed for justified refusal arising from Seller fault. Any goodwill concession funded by reFind requires separate approval; the case record must distinguish remedy, liability allocation and financial execution.
